Working in Partnership

Some of our courses are so specialist with bring in selected partners to facilitate the learning process, with an experienced Paramedic, CMT1 or other specialists including our resident Midwife Hannah, who provides in-depth knowledge for our Paediatric Courses for Close Protection Operatives Some of Our courses are longer than other companies, because we add live scenario exercises to many of our courses to give our candidates the confidence needed to react calmly and with professionalism in the event of a real emergency.

Accident Management

This course concentrates on the Management of an incident, and how to remain safe during the first few chaotic minutes of an Road Traffic Collision (RTC). Secondary incidents and injuries are often the biggest killers during an RTC, For instance during this period even Police Officers are run over by other Drivers mesmerised by flashing lights and the lack of concentration. We have two Versions of this course one directed at civilians and Taxi Drivers, whilst the other is directed at Close Protection Operatives, VIP Drivers and Police Officers etc.

Open Environment Medicine (OEM)

This course has been developed to aid individuals in dealing with the now regular long waits for an Ambulance, as well as unfriendly environments where you can become isolated from the general public and all the benefits of being within a city. Here we go a little further than just Level 3 First Aid at Work, we help you to adapt to a more Hostile Environment in respect of animals, Cold/Hot Weather and the many other issues of being in open countryside. The Course is designed for anyone working or enjoying activities within the countryside, where there’s a great chance of becoming isolated from Urban resources.  

First Aid at Work Level 3

This course is Awarded by HABC and is an RQF course requiring a minimum of 3 days face to Face Instruction, within the basic of First Aid curriculum including use of a Defibrillator. The course is suitable for anyone in work or Education and provides the candidate with the confidence to deal with a work placed incident in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation. Wounds, Illness, Bandaging, Accident Triage and much more is taught within this popular course Our 4 Day version allows the Candidates to spend a day practising a wide range of scenario’s using casualty simulation (Please ask for Details)

Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3 RQF (1 Day)

This course is Awarded by HABC and is an RQF course requiring a minimum of 1 days face to Face Instruction, within the basic of First Aid curriculum including use of a Defibrillator. The course is suitable for anyone in work or Education and provides the candidate with the confidence to deal with a work placed incident in accordance with Health & Safety Legislation. This Course concentrates on the practical skills needed to keep someone alive, until more advanced medical help arrives whether that the FAW First Aider or the Paramedic and Ambulance Crew
F-POS-I  also know as First Person On Scene - Intermediate, has been designed to equip learners with the skills, knowledge and confidence to help a person in a life threatening situation. F-POS is designed for those who are likely to be first on the scene of an emergency incident when a person’s life is in danger, such as community responders, fire and police personnel, industrial first aiders and those who want to achieve more than First Aid. This qualification has been developed with the NHS Ambulance Services and is clinically endorsed by the Faculty of Pre-Hospital Care. FPOS also meets the Security Industry Authority first aid requirements for Close Protection Operatives.

This course is solely dedicated to injuries and illness recognition and treatment providing the individual with sufficient knowledge and understanding of both external and internal injuries or illness and the consequences if not treated appropriately - The course will enhance the knowledge base of anyone attending F-POS, FAW or other Medical Training We also discuss Mental Health issues that the Team Medic may encounter with relevant courses of action in the event of an MH condition presenting itself. We also have a Care Home variation of this course designed to protect those in long term care

This has been designed specifically for Operational Surveillance Teams and those engaged within hazardous operations where treatment must be completed in confined spaces, open covert areas/waterways or undercover of darkness, where the casualty needs to be treated and removed from scene without undue attention to a safe RV where advanced medical care can take place. This is an arduous course which requires self control, innovation and attention to detail initially designed for Police and Military Surveillance Operators.
